sorry, I am just facinated with your word verification still...
Praying we will all enjoy the real reason for this Christmas season instead of being distracted with all the hustle and bustle.
Mailed my last package out. Just a little wrapping left to do. My friend Denise (Harshman) and her husband are coming to visit tomorrow. Gotta get the wrapping paper put away and my living room looking presentable again.
Yesterday I mentioned to someone at church that I didn't know how parents wrapped presents with small children. I never saw my mom wrap a present ever. It just magically got done. Charlie Bennett overheard my converation and came up to me shouting (with his finger pointed at me) "I knew it, I just knew it. There is no Santa Claus. The parents wrap the presents!" I looked at him and said, "I don't know what you are talking about Charlie. I am not talking about the gifts Santa gives us, I am talking about the gifts our parents give us." "Oh..." he said with a confused look.
My other favorite kid moment was when Trevor told his mom he was glad there wasn't a Santa Claus because he was sure if there was a Santa he wouldn't get any gifts this year... he would be on the naughty list. I thought that was great. How sweet too that he knew his parents would have mercy on him.
I just love kids... think I'll get a few...
Have a wonderful Christmas Sandy and Rob.
Rob... try not to work on Christmas, take some time off and enjoy some movies, some yummy hot cocoa, and take it easy.
