So far so crazy

Pictures tomorrow. Everyone is in bed, asleep? Hopefully. Drew is waiting for me to turn out the light. Allen's gang was here, what fun, but crazy. The GRANDchildren days have begun. Yippee! But, Wow!
Pictures and stories to follow.
Happy Jesus Birthday. Good night dear friends.

Hey Sandy, it's Rob. ROB. Yeah, I have a cold. But this is fine, as it's just an OFFICIAL excuse to lay around and watch the three (of six) "24" season six DVDs I got, for the occasion. Yes, celebrate the birth of our savior by watching Jack Bauer run amok in L.A.

Glad to hear your holiday is going well, too! I'm looking forward to the photos!

Well, it's been about ten minute in an upright position and I'm getting dizzy, so it's time to lay back down on the sofa.

"Talk" to you soon!

Hi everyone. I am back to work and Christmas is here and gone. What a wonderful Christmas I had. At my dad's house we didn't buy gifts. We either made something or re-gifted presents. I made out like a bandit! My step-sister made me homemade grape jelly and carmel apple butter. My dad gave me a pocket watch of his (that I have been wanting) and my step-mother gave me one of her quilts! It was a relaxing enjoyable evening. At my mom's the theme seemed to be pictures, pictures, pictures. We all exchanged framed pictures of our vacation this summer. Lots of fun.

My poor mom thought one of my gifts was hers and was surprised to find out that I was taking one of the big pictures home when she was already finding a place to hang it.

My brother accidently opened one of my presents (which was a book about wrapping presents and giving the perfect gifts - a totally girly gift). He was so gracious, but the look on his face was priceless. He was so relieved to find out it was my gift... (guess you had to be there.)

Anyway, we said we weren't going to do many cookies this year because we always eat too much and have a million left over. Somehow I think we wound up with twice the desserts we had last year.

We had about 30-40 dozen cookies between 14 people (three of which were toddlers), plus two pies.

Well, back to work today. My vacation ended at about 6 am this morning.

I found out we might do another family vacation again this year too... somewhere warm... (not my favorite as I am not a fan of the heat, but I expect water will also be involved... which makes it ok.) The location has not been announced yet. My parents are keeping it a secret from us kids for now...

Sorry you are sick Rob. I am glad you have plenty of entertainment though to keep you busy while you rest.

Well I need a drink of water... the ham is making me thirsty...
