Vicki already said it in an earlier comment, but WOW, Kaleb looks a LOT like Allen! That's crazy!
Many times people ask "Doesn't he look just like (fill in the blank)?" and I rarely, if ever, see it. But there's no denying that's Allen's boy!
Hope every one is doing well... just got back from my afternoon tour of NHS's bootcamp/lockdown/etceteras facility. Sad stuff, although it's good to see/hear the kids themselves talk, what appeared to be truthfully and bluntly, about their lives and how the various programs had helped them.
I'm still catching up on mail, e-mail, and stuff... whew, how do people do this all the time?
I am off to Maryland this weekend to help my grandfather pack for his move to a retirement community. I might be coming home with a ping pong table for my basement. There is also a pool table, but I don't think it will fit in my basement and I like ping pong better anyway.
Oh yes friends Kaleb is a mini Allen. Baby pics are almost impossible to tell who is who...except for the eighties home design in the background. Ha Ha.
Thanks Jen for stopping by. I love to show off my grandbabies.
John Denver said it best: Hey it’s good to be back home again.
I went out, today, and saw both Prince Caspian and Indiana Jones, and both were excellent! Jones was playing in FOUR theaters, and all were packed. That actually made it more fun: lots of people my age and their kids, all fans. So when something mildly funny occurred on screen, the laughter was explosive... everything is ratcheted up, and that's great for action movies. That was a great use of $11, those two movies! There's several good movies coming, this summer.
What a crazy two weeks, work-wise. I'm really learning some new stuff... new skills, I mean.
When I started learning to do therapy, it was all behind a one-way mirror, and was videotaped, so I could review everything. I'd remember most sessions radically different than I saw, when I watched them. I'd think I was so smooth and calm and professional, but, somehow, on tape I was reacting strongly, dorky, and giving bad advice. LIKEWISE, when I think I'm dealing with regional vice presidents and whatnot neutrally and slickly, I'm fortunate to have co-workers tell me that I raised my eyebrows a few too many times, and that rolling my eyes probably wasn't the best response to the request to do this or that. So learning how to deal and interact on an entirely different level is interesting. And challenging.
Well, my mail, for the past week, is MIA... I went to the Post Office this morning to get it, as I noted I would, and it wasn't there. "They must've taken it out, for delivery," the clerk assured me. But... no deal. So now I need to wait until Tuesday to get my mail. Oh well, I'm sure it will turn out to have been at the P.O. all along...

Congrats, grandma! They're adorable. I must agree, Kaleb sure looks a lot like Allen. What a sweet mothers' day gift.
You need some girlies in your family:)

We will see if it fits in the van.
Well, have a great weekend all...
