I watched Lorenzo's Oil tonight. Such a sad, sad movie. The real Lorenzo just died less than two months ago. So sad.
I went grocery shopping today. Bought a bunch of meat and produce and some canned goods. I put everything away except the canned goods - left them in the bags to deal with later. Took a nap.
When I woke up I grilled some yummy veggies on the grill. I sat down to relax and was thinking... did I put the meat in the fridge or the freezer... I can't remember.
Well, I got up and looked... turns out it wasn't in the freezer... OR THE FRIDGE...
It had been setting on the table for 8 hours. I did some research on line to see if it could be saved. Everything I read said it would have been ok up to about 4 hours, but raw chicken, and raw beef... sitting out for 8 hours... well, it is now in the garbage.
I can't believe I did that. Oh, well, at least I am not dealing with food poisoning right now.
Have a good night all. I guess I should get to bed... it is past 2 am...

Oh Vic, So sorry about your meat. I don't think I ever watched Lorenzo's Oil, have heard of it though and knew it to be a tear jerker.
